A comedy of gobbo errors.

This is a blog to follow my poker play from day to day, even though no one will likely read it until I completely skull people in the WSOP. You heard it here first, people.

Sorry for no updates, I'm at turning stone this whole week. I think I'm up for the trip, but not positive. The higher limit holdem tables are pretty cutthroat, and I doubt I'll keep playing them. I really do need to start at lower stakes online too.

I got 16th in the $300 NLHE MTT yesterday for about $950. I have had no premium hands whatsoever, so today in the $500 when I picked up queens in the first level with our starting 50 bb stacks I was pretty happy. I was down to about 2k at 25/50 blinds and playing about half the hands trying to hit something and stack an idiot. So, I make it 150 with my queens and someone raises to 400. I really kind of feel like he has me (results oriented anyone?) and I cram because even if his range is JJ+ and AK then I have good equity. He has KK and I'm gone.

Alright, I'm tired and cranky. <3 you all.

We interrupt this blog for a special gobbulletin.

Gobbo

Gobbo is an Italian good luck icon. He is commonly portrayed as being a well dressed hunchback in a suit and top hat and occasionally holding an umbrella, horse shoe, and/or a cornetto. He is also sometimes shown making a corna with one hand. It is supposed that if you rub his hump it will bring good luck.
